And now, for something completely Different...!

Dinosaurs are fun. Dinosaurs are cool. Dinosaurs aren't even really extinct...they just evolved into birds. There are dinosaurs flying around your backyard!

Anyway, my friend Folded Soup is back from his camping trip in the Idaho mountains and had the very good taste to put up some Jonah Hex pictures. Therefore, I have stolen some really fabulous dinosaur pictures from Scans Daily. They are from Age of Reptiles, by Ricardo Delgado, and they are fabulous.

I guess that's an Apatosaurus or something similar. I'm not the best when it comes to identifying Theropods.

Well, crap in a hat. Tyrannosaurus shows up for a free buffet.

It doesn't pay to piss off Deinonycus. Beautiful art anyways.

You can see why this is my all-time favorite dinosaur series and probably one of the best dinosaur stories ever told. Thanks for posting these! Never get tired of them. Hugs!

(Two things, though: That big critter's a Saltasaurus. You can tell by the back armor. And it's a Sauropod. Theropods are the two legged carnivors. Like the Deinonychosaurs and Tyrannosaur.)

Yep. Dino-geek.

Sorry, I always get Sauropods and Theropods mixed up. In fact, I knew that as soon as I wrote it, but hey.

It's just gorgeous art though.

Yeah, Delgado rocks. Make sure you check out the sequel "Age of Reptiles 2: The Hunt" and the really, really not-appreciated at all "Hieroglyph." That one has actual dialog!

Guy really needs to do more comics.

I LOVE THAT COMIC BOOK.

I bought it a long time ago and we never received the other parts.
Real bad.
But it was fantastic.

Thanks for the post.

Have any of you tried Xenozoic tales? It think that it is Mark Schmidt or something, but gorgeous line work, and some really spanking dinosaurs.
