I'm really not even Trying anymore

It's the day before new comics come in, and it's a darned good thing too, because my well of inspiration done dried up.

silly

Fortunately, there are things like this particular cover to mock. It's not quite the same as making fun of Batman, or having things fall on Hal's head, but still...I'll take what I can get.

Seriously, these two are x-ray visioning each other, when Lana is RIGHT THERE?!

Hmmmph. Stupid boys.

What cracks me up, also, is that the boys automatically ASSUME that each has a secret identity -- rather than the possibility that, you know, they just really like to wear Underoos or something. ;-)

"Great Scott! That boy is wearing a Wonder Woman one-piece under his clothing! Wonder Woman must have somehow been magically turned into a boy!!!!"

Does young Clark Kent use his x-ray vision on all the boys in Smallville?

He must have had a great time when he joined his school's football team and participated in locker room antics.

It's because Lana is weaaring a lead-lined bra. In a twon where SUperbot roams, who wouldn't do that or at least lead-line their bedroom and/or bathrooms?

Well, Dwayne's explanation does make a certain amount of sense. A lead-lined bra would be awfully heavy after a while however, I would think.

So, I think that Sea's right, Superboy just automatically checks out all strangers to see what sort of underwear they have on. One of those fetishes that they never seem to mention much.

I don't know, but the guy who first got the idea of selling lead-lined bras in Smallvile is a consummate businessman on a par with Harold Hill.
"We've got problems right here in Smallville! With a capital 'S' and that sounds like 'X' and that stands for 'X-ray vision'!"

I'm betting Fred Wertham noticed the same thing...
