One More Time

I just can't seem to let this go. So here, as per a request from Sea-of-Green over at the Hoosier Journal of Inanity, is another picture by the incredible Pat Gleason.

Isn't that adorable?

And finally this one, because it still just cracks me up.

The first one is a drawing I found on Pat's website. The second is from issue #7 of Green Lantern Corps (I think, off of the top of my head) with the tale of the Corpse, written by Keith Champagne. It is STILL one of my favorite Guy stories.

great, thanks for that. I don't suppose you know if the earlier issues of GL vol 3 have ever been released in trade? or if the spin off which had John trying to fix the planet full of displaced aliens has been released in trade?
(names are evading me at the moment)

Saranga,

GL v3 has been released in hardcovers all the way up to issue #42. The first four are available as paperbacks. As for GLC, it's been released into four paperback volumes all the way to issue #32. I hope that helps :)

And boy, does Pat Gleason put a lot of effort into sketches! Sally, do you know if that was a commission or a convention sketch?

Saranga, that particular arc, of #7,8, and 9, is collected in the trade "Dark Side of the Green". The picture that I showed of Guy the day before, with Iolande, Soranik and R'amey Holl is the actual cover to that collection...and it's a dandy.

Liss, I'm not sure, but he ususally puts the person's name on it that he's drawing it for. But I love his pencils...they are VERY tight and complete.
