All Romance Comic Covers Feature Hal
It really is uncanny just HOW many of those hunks on the Romance Comic covers look just like Hal. Uncanny, I sez!
Here is a rather unnusual one. Unnusual in the fact that it seems to be hinting at a problem not USUALLY experienced by Hal.

I simply adore old romance covers. You can always think up something ridiculous about the characters.

On a tangent, I was wondering if you'd heard the news that former GL artist Joe Staton (a favorite of mine) is taking over as the artist on the "Dick Tracy" comic strip? He'll be starting tomorrow (March 14). I'm looking forward to that...
I had NOT heard that! My newspaper doesn't have Dick Tracy, so I won't be able to see it, but I simply love Joe Staton, so I'm sure that he'll do a splendid job of it.
I still miss Eduardo Barreto on Judge Parker. He did some of my very favorite issues of JLA:Quarterly.

Note the comments: The GoComics regulars had gotten so accustomed to mocking the previous artist that they're completely taken aback (in a good way) by the new style.
