G'Not G'Nort?
According to the Green Lantern panel at the NYCC the reboot does not include G'Nort Esplanade G'neesmacher of G'Newt. I am of course, devasted by this news.
I LIKED G'Nort, dammit. Yes, he was dim-witted, clumsy and a tad impulsive...but that was part of his charm. Not to mention the HUGE canine crush that he had on Guy. He was created to be comic relief, and he handled that chore with aplomb.
Why do they have to get rid of anything that is fun and silly? Next thing you know, they're going to be dumping Talky Tawney!

DeMatteis will be devastated. I recall he kept saying he wanted to write more about him. But the fans seem to be against erasing him so maybe with enough pressure they won't.
You poor deluded person, comics are not for fun. They are for sex violence and splash pages...so they can be made into big budget movie adds. If you need me, I'll be over here with my pile of Showcase Presents, Marvel Essentials, and Batman: Brave and Bold recordings.
Did DeMatteis create G'Nort, or did Gerard Jones? Both used him so well.
I wanted a Dex-Starr/G'Nort matchup, dammit!
