More Lanterns!
Moving on from Alan, I guess I should go to John Stewart next. I like John too, although he's not quite as close to my heart as Guy or Hal. At least he's actually getting some attention lately, which is a GOOD thing!
As much as I like the stoic, pragmatic John, I do miss his coffee-swilling, ABBA-listening past.

Gary he DOES like Streisand. And Bobby Short. And ABBA. John has eclectic tastes. He plays piano too.
I just liked these little things, because they added to his personality. Lately, all they seem to do is play up the stoic soldierly part of his personality...which is ok, except that there is a lot more TO John.

Jay, that's quite the site you have there! Covers all kinds of cool things. And yes, I'm pretty helpless when it comes to doing computery stuff. I usually yell for a teenager.

Yeah, like that time he became a Guardian and ate his own power ring. Did that ever get reference anywhere or did it become a "Shh, never happened!" moment?
The whole "Becoming a Guardian" deal seems to have been quietly swept under the rug. If you recall Katma came back at the end of Mosaic too...and never showed up alive again.
I get the feeling sometimes that writers just don't really know what to do with John.
Blimey, you're right - I'd totally forgotten about Katma's return.
