So...?

I haven't made it to the new Avengers movie yet, but I am dying to know how everyone liked it.  It apparently has a shirtless Thor in it, which is always a boost in my opinion.  And Chris Evans as Captain America from behind is a truly stunning sight to behold.

Gosh, I'm so terrible.  Rating people by their physical attributes!

So...how was it?

Gah! Apparently there was a Loki cameo that was cut!

I am depressed.

I really liked it, even if some of the cuts for time are a bit obvious. There's going to be an extended DVD, it seems but the film flows fine.

Every scene Downey and Evans share is fantastic, their chemistry has really improved since the last one.

There wasn't enough topless Thor, sadly. Scarlett Johannsen is rather lovely in it.
Iron Man is a bit of an egotistical dick, but what's new there?

I quite enjoyed the film.

I liked it too, Sally. It was a bit more ... mechanical than the first (if you'll pardon the pun) but it was fun. I felt like the first film had more heart. This one seemed like it had more things it wanted to hit, and ran at almost a breakneck pace throughout. I'll be seeing it again, because there were several quite literal "blink and you'll miss it" scenes, and I blinked during some of them.

I DID finally see Guardians of the Galaxy, which is on one of those fancy schmancy channels. It's actually a hoot.

A hoot and a half!

I loved it! It was much more chaotic than the first film, but there were parts that had me squealing like a fangirl.

Wait ... I AM a fangirl!

Yes. A fabulous Fangirl!

It was good? I dunno, man: I liked Man of Steel and Star Trek Into Darkness when I came outta the theater, and they kinda fell apart for me later? So I liked it but I'm worried I'll look back on it and it won't hold up.
